Capture warrant Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu: A non-bailable capture warrant has been issued against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister P Chandrababu Naidu and 15 others. A court in Maharashtra has requested the police to capture and deliver Naidu and others before it by September 21.

The capture warrant was issued regarding a challenge in 2010 when Naidu and others were contradicting a water venture in Babli (Maharashtra) over the Godavari. The police had then captured Naidu and others and held up them in a prison in Pune. They were later discharged.
In those days, Naidu was the Leader of Opposition of then joined Andhra Pradesh. He was challenging in light of the fact that the Babli venture would antagonistically influence individuals in Andhra Pradesh.
The capture warrant has been issued by legal five star officer of Dharmabad in Nanded area of Maharashtra in light of a request of recorded by a nearby occupant.
The Andhra Pradesh boss priest and others have been charged under the Indian Penal Code with offenses like attack or criminal power, to prevent open worker from release of obligation, willfully causing harmed by risky weapons or means, act imperiling life or individual security of others, criminal terrorizing, among others.
It is BJP’s handicraft: TDP
In the mean time, Naidu’s gathering, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has charged that the capture warrant is handicraft of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). TDP representative Lanka Dinakar said the BJP is “plotting the capture warrant”. He said the BJP is “focusing on” Naidu on the grounds that he moved out of the BJP-drove National Democratic Alliance.
Naidu’s child and state Information Technology Minister, N Lokesh said his dad and other TDP pioneers will show up under the steady gaze of the court.
“He battled to ensure the interests of Telangana. He even declined to look for safeguard when he was captured,” Lokesh said.
