LPG price Hike, Cylinders cost 73.50 paisa from today ! There is bad news for consumers using domestic gas cylinders. The cylinders of LPG 73 are costlier than 50 paise. These prices will be effective from September.

Now the price of domestic cylinders has gone upto 597 rupees 50 paise. Earlier, the price of gas cylinders in the capital Delhi was 524 rupees.
Government oil marketing companies had announced on Thursday that the LPG (14.2 kg) of Delhi has been increased to 73.50 rupees. The increase in the price of the cylinders came after petroleum minister Dharmendra’s statement in which he had told the Lok Sabha that the government has asked the government oil companies to increase the subsidized cooking gas by 4 rupees per cylinder so that till March But the subsidy given to be completely eliminated.
It is worth noting that till July 1, there are 18.12 crore LPG consumers in the country. Out of these, 2.5 million poor consumers have been given LPG connection during last one year under the Prime Minister Ujjwala scheme.
